Cooking Competition
 Details for our annual competition are with your leaders.
 As usual the competition is for teams of 4 Scouts, with a budget of £10 with which to cook a two-course meal for four.
Introduction to Backpacking
 We are once again running our 3 day trip to the New Forest. The aim is to help you learn the skills necessary to go lightweight camping and put all those navigation skills you’ve acquired over the winter into practice.

NEW for 2012 - District Scout Camp
 We are going to hold a weekend camp in June to celebrate the Queens diamond jubilee. To get us in the Jubilee mood the theme of the camp will be “Camping 1952 Style”. We are intending to camp as we did 60 years ago, Wear short trousers, cook on open fires and do activities similar to those Scouts in the 1950’s would have done. On Saturday night there will be a “Commonwealth Campfire”.
